Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)

Red Hat® Certified Architects (RHCA®) prove their skills using Red Hat Enterprise Linux® and other Red Hat technologies within existing architectures or when moving to new ones. A Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®) who attained Red Hat’s highest level of certification.

Would your organization like to build a modern datacenter, improve cloud infrastructure, or plan for your future application platform? RHCA concentrations are recommendations by Red Hat that test technical professionals’ skills and knowledge planning and building Red Hat solutions. Participants can select the concentration they wish to focus on or can choose any combination of eligible Red Hat certifications to create a custom concentration of their own.

1. Datacenter

An RHCA with a datacenter concentration is a Red Hat Certified Engineer who has attained Red Hat’s highest level of certification, proving their skills with tasks common in an on-premise datacenter.

2. Cloud

An RHCA with a cloud concentration is a Red Hat Certified Engineer who has attained Red Hat’s highest level of certification, proving their skills with tasks common to cloud infrastructure.

3. Application platform

An RHCA with an application platform concentration is a Red Hat Certified Engineer who has attained Red Hat’s highest level of certification, proving their skills with tasks common for building and managing tools and applications.

4. Application development

An RHCA with an application development concentration is a Red Hat Certified Engineer who has attained Red Hat’s highest level of certification, proving skills in enterprise application development, integration, and architecture.

RHCA can be earned through different combinations of Certificates of Expertise, employers are advised to request the Red Hat certification ID of all individuals claiming RHCA status and verify which of the Certificates of Expertise they have earned here.

  • Red Hat Certified Engineers who wish to demonstrate greater depth and breadth of knowledge and skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and across other Red Hat products

To attain RHCA status, an RHCE must pass any 5 of the following exams listed in the First Column
